Make Money through Blogging Using Google Adsense

Google Adsense, undoubtedly, is the best contextual online advertising network of all. The concept of earning money through Google Adsense is very simple. Let’s see it in full detail.

How Google Adsense Works?

Google Adsense is nothing but a mediator between Advertiser and Publishers (we). Advertisers bid to show their advertisements in your ad spaces in a real-time auction through Google Adwords. Google Adsense as a mediator through the javascript placed on our blogs, will display those advertisements based on the content present on our blogs or websites. Google will then pay us for the ad clicks or impressions received from our blog by charging the advertisers. However, Google will receive a nominal fee as a commission from the Advertisers.

How Does Google Adsense Works in Reality?

Just check this Image I’ve found that clearly illustrates “how Google Adsense works?”.

The above stated scenario benefits all the three people – Google, Advertiser as well as the Publisher.

Before applying for Google Adsense, make sure that your website or blog meets the minimum requirement criteria.

How to Apply for Google Adsense?

Google has recently changed the account approval process for Adsense by adding the 2-step verification process.

  1. Go to Google Adsense Sign-up page and register your blog.
  2. Google will review your account and if approved, you’ll be given access to the Adsense dashboard through which you can create Adsense ads script and place them on your blog.
  3. Your account will be reviewed again by Google after you implemented the ads.
  4. Finally, if everything on your blog is good, your adsense account will be approved for real and you can start making money.

This 2-step verification process helps Google in verifying the domain ownership.

A big disadvantage of this 2-step Adsense verification is that, this will impact services like HubPages, IndyaRocks etc…which provide free Adsense account without needing a website.

These days, many bloggers are being rejected by Adsense either due to the content violation or for not meeting the requirements. If you’re one of them, don’t hesitate to try the best Adsense alternatives as they can also fetch you decent income.

  1. Radhe Bro i have applied For Adsense directly and it got partially approved but after 4-5 days they disapproved me because of reaon ” Unacceptable site content ” .
What this reason means ? Am i aving copyrighted content or its because of my domain age ( Only 2 months old ) ?

    • Adsense has got no particular limitation that only domains above 6months age will get approved. I’ve seen a 1 month old blog getting approved by Adsense but the only thing they’re considering is the niche..Mostly, movie related websites are getting rejected, but if you’re having any other niche, then try to give your blog a neat design/layout/navigation and wait until it has got some decent visitors (say 500 daily)…
