Custom 404 Error Pages [Blogger Feature]

You’ll be treated with a 404 or Not Found error message whenever you land on a broken webpage. This HTTP response code indicates that the server isn’t able to find what you’re looking for on that particular website.

Till now, Blogger used to show a plain old design for 404 page and did not allowed any customization. But, lately, Blogger has launched many good features in which “Custom 404” is one.

Tip: If you’re having more number of 404 pages, then its better to 301 redirect those blogger posts to the most appropriate pages.

If you use a unique template for your 404 page instead of the one that is used on several other blogs, then it will be beneficial for you to make your readers stay with you.

Remember that the Custom 404 feature is available for both blogspot and custom Blogger domains.

The default Blogger 404 error page will look like this.
